i also want it to be noted that in 1751 that edward harris was enumerated in lydall bacon's district per these lunenburg co, va tithe lists. these connections re lydall bacon and his daughter lucy bacon's marriage to charles allen, jr re my/ our harris family are not just more involved there in this lunenburg co, va area but, again, also on into laurens co, sc. again, i have talked about this also on harris hunters but to remention just briefly for now, this was my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers son john l. harris in laurens co, sc who married mary/ polly allen, daughter of charles allen, jr/ lucy bacon, who had also moved there, of course, also from lunenburg co, va. i also want it to be noted that in 1751 john wilborn was also living in lydall bacon's district and, again, i have talked abou this also on harris hunters that both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and his father my william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn/ judith from 1757-1762 there in lunenburg co, va. again, the same william hudson, who, like my william harris, sr/ frances goode, was one of the executors of my william harris/ judith hudson's will and also the same william hudson who my william harris, sr/ frances goode sold land to in 1759 there in lunenburg co, va was the same william hudson who also moved to laurens / edgefield cos, sc. again, per a laurens co, sc deed i have cited in the past, william hudson gave land in laurens co, sc and rutherford co, nc to his son-in-laws and his daughters: james pool/ ursula hudson; william wilborn; cary hudson; and jeremiah wilborn/ polly hudson. james pool married ursula hudson in 1782 in mecklenburg co, va and this was his brother alexander pool/ angelina crowder who also witnessed my william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will. neither john wilborn's wife or his children were named in his 1757 lunenburg co, va will but a lunenburg co, va deed shows that john wilborn's wife was named judith and the records of lunenburg co, va show that john wilborn/ judith had a son thomas wilborn, who was bound out to william cox and a daughter susannah wilborn who was bound out either to my william harris, sr/ frances goode or to my william harris/ judith hudson. again, despite being bound out to william cox, thomas wilborn continued to live in this same woodpecker/ bluestone creek area as my william harris/ judith hudson and to be involved there with the same individuals and families. these lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va records show that this william hudson was the brother or 1/2 brother of my judith hudson harris, children of my peter hudson, sr who died in 1752 in halifax co, va. what also confirms this besides, again, all of these other connections and the fact that william hudson was named a son in our peter hudson, sr's will, is that i am recently corresponding with someone who descends from william wilborn/ cary hudson, who died in edgefield co, sc, and they named a son peter hudson wilborn. i am obviously also hopeful that we are going to be able to figure out how his william wilborn/ cary hudson were also related to john wilborn/ judith and their son, thomas wilborn also there in lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va because this is certainly what this info and these connections do show. 1751 sun005.txt - (Part 5) 1751 Tithe List Lydall Bacon's list Edward Harriss ............................................. 1 ************************** ________________________________________ Xpher [Christopher] Johnson ................................ 1 Wm.
