On the Motion of Henry May the Court do appoint him, the said Henry May, guardian of William Rawlings, orphan of John Rawlins, whereon he with Thomas Jones his security entered into a bond for that purpose. September Court 1754. The William Rawlings mentioned above in 1754 md Mary Magdelene Roberts (dau of Alexander Roberts) in Halifax Co, VA in 1767 and they lived in Charlotte Co, VA from 1771 until he died there in 1793. Henry May also lived and died in Charlotte Co.
