I have seen a couple web sites which give some information about the marriage of George HARRIS & Millie HICKEY who married on 13 Feb 1897 in Umatilla County, Oregon. Does anyone have any documentation for this marriage? I have found some documentation that seems to indicate that Millie's maiden name was HUNTER. Millie's mother died just a few weeks after Millie was born and her father died a couple years later leaving Millie an orphan. I'm wondering if maybe HICKEY is the name she got from her adopted family. They treated her very poorly and she ended up running away from them. On Millie's death certificate Millie's father's name is listed as "HUNTER"...mother's name as "UNKNOWN". Would appreciate any information about "Millie (HUNTER) HARRIS" or "Millie (HICKEY) HARRIS.
