Below, I have cut & pasted all of the Harris road orders that I found online posted by the VA DoT. I'm going to post the Harris entries that I downloaded for one county at a time. I hope you find them helpful ORANGE Co 24 November 1749, O.S. p. 232 Ordered That the Male labouring Tithables belonging to Joseph Morton Zachary Taylor Erasmus Taylor Peter Rucker William Golding John Goss William Sims & Moses Harris do work under Thomas Newman who is overseer of a Road in this County. 23 May 1754 N.S., Page 4 Reubin Harris is appointed Overseer of the Road in the Room of Thomas Graves and that he with the Gang that was under the said Graves clear & keep the same in Repair 28 March 1755 N.S., Page 90 Ordered that Reubin Harris Surveyor of the Lower part of the Road from the Middle Church down the fork of Pamunky With the Gang under him Join with Malica Chiles Surveyor of the uper part of the said Road in each of their Gang Making a bridge over the Run by the said Church 23 October 1755 N.S., Page 180 Ordered that Vivon Daniel Overseer of the road have the following Persons for his Gang vizt.
