    1. [HARRIS-HUNTERS] reply again to carol re wilminton harris, etc, # 3
    2. again, dolores rutherford, per her interest in her john page, sr, whose daughter hannah page married sherwood harris in 1761 there in goochland co, va said that there were no goochland co, va deeds for this sherwood harris/ hannah page and that he did not appear on the goochland co, va tithe lists.   again, her info does show and, again, repeated here, that, per the goochland co, va court order book that this sherwood harris/ hannah page did, along with thomas stark, prove the deed re william page to his father, john page, sr.   In 1761, he/ (john page, sr) made gift deeds of land to his sons, John and William. John received the 100 acres purchased in 1758 and William received the 150 acres purchased in 1744. John, Sr. retained the 270 acres. Son, John, had to mortgage his 100 acres a couple of times and it appears that he eventually lost it as no deed appears whereby he sold it. William evidently deeded his 150 acres back to his father in 1765. Although no record appears in the deed books for this transfer, the court order book shows that Thomas STARKE and Sherod HARRIS proved a deed from William PAGE to John PAGE. It had to be for this land because, in Sep 1767, John PAGE deeded it to Edward SMITH.   the following goochland co, va deed/ info connects this same thomas stark also with the william harris, wife, mary, and, again, this info indicates that the sherwood harris, who married hannah page, was the son of this william harris/ mary, brother of this gilliam harris and that it was their sister, agnes harris, who married this john cawthon.    2 November 1757 William Harris of St. John's Parish, Goochland Co., to Charles Rice of Hanover Co. 24 pounds, 50 acres and plantation in Fredericksville Parish; part of a greater tract which Edward Harris sold to William Wadkens...Captain Dabney's corner. William [X] Harris Witnesses: William Terrill , Israel Burnley , Charles Pears, Thos. East. 28 February 1758 proved by oaths of William Terrill, Israel Burnley and Thos. East. George II to Thomas Starke and George Payne, Gentlemen. Power granted to take acknowledgement of Mary Harris, who is so impotent that without great danger of her body she cannot travel to the Court of our said County. 4 March 1758 James Littlepage Clk. Court 10 May 1758 We, the subscribers went to within named Mary Harris, who freely made acknowledgement. Thomas Starke, George Payne   then, again,  there is the following goochland co, va deed that connects david mims also with william harris/ mary and his son gilliam harris there in goochland co, va and again, it was also this john cawthon, who is stated to have married this william harris' daughter, agnes harris.   again, also, as shown, it connects this same william harris/ mary and gilliam harris also with this same thomas stark, who was also involved with sherwood harris/ hannah page.     Deed Book 7, page 36 6 November 1755 James Cawthon of Hanover to Gillum Harris of Goochland, for 5 pounds 70 acres in Goochland on a branch of Lickinghole Creek, bounded by: corner pine of David Mims, along Mims line, to William Harris line and along his line to a corner pine on Thos Starke and along his line to a corner pine on George Louell to the beginning. Jeames Cathon /s/ Witnesses: Charles Christian Willm [X his mark] Harris John [T or J his mark] Burns [another mark of his is an I with a horizontal line across middle] Samuel Leak John Cawthon   again, this william harris/ mary of goochland co,va and his sons, gilliam harris and this sherwood harris, who married hannah page, and his son-in-law john cawthon, who married his daughter, agnes harris, were NOT my william harris/ judith hudson and his son, my william harris, sr/ frances goode, who were, again, in brunswick/ lunenburg co, va by 1743/ 1746.   again, there is NO evidence that my william harris/ judith hudson or his son, my william harris, sr/ frances goode were ever in goochland co, va and there is no evidence that this william harris/ mary, etc, of goochland co, va was ever in brunswick/ lunenburg co, va.   to be continued:   belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8-------26910
