again, i cannot confirm myself that this was the same sherwood harris, who married hannah page, etc, who married elizabeth tillman and who moved to anson co, nc.     i have not tracked this sherwood harris.  i have never focused on anson co, nc and i have not seen kathryn wiggins' "harris papers": anson co, nc.   i do, however, want to talk about some interesting things and connections i have noted.  i will also talk about this first and, then, post the info.   as shown, per this sherwood harris' anson co, nc will, one of the witnesses was this jordan flake.   per the info, which can be found on a number of these rootsweb sites, jordan flake was the son of samuel flake and his 2nd wife sarah abigail harris.   the meager info i can find on sarah abigail harris, but from two different sources, says that she was born in 1742 in st martin's parish, hanover co, va and that she was the daughter of stephen harris.   obviously, i cannot confirm this but if so, this would have been the same stephen harris involved with our david harris/ jane landy richardson and our harris family on cubb creek in hanvover/ louisa cos, va; the same stephen harris, who my william harris/ judith hudson sold his land to in louisa co, va, per brunswick co, va deed which i have cited a number of times now and the same stephen harris also involved with carol's thomas harris.   the info also says that jordan flake married as his 2nd wife faitha hanna and that she was the daughter of this james hanna/ faitha madison of laurens co, sc.    this is also interesting because this is/ was, perhaps, the same hanna/ hannah family who is indicated to have known our/ my harris family in amelia/ prince edward co, va; lunenburg co, va; and on into laurens co, sc.   i have tried to find out the source of the info that sarah abigail harris, who married samuel flake and who was the mother of jordan flake, was the daughter of stephen harris of st martin's parish, hanover co, va, but, so far, i have not been successful but see the posts about this to follow.   to be continued:   belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8------26910
