Sandra Hart in the last few days has given us on Harris-Hunters some abstracts naming Harrises in various Virginia county road orders as published by the Virginia Dept. of Transportation in the past few years. One of the sources for Hanover Co., VA for road orders came from C. C. Chamberlayne's book on St. Paul's Parish. To read/examine the complete Chamberlayne book on St. Paul's Parish Hanover Co., you may take a look at this URL of Brigham Young University at Provo, Utah. It is free. The search engine, to me, seems helpful. Don't give too much info, however!! _www.lib.byu.edu/fhc/index.php_ (http://www.lib.byu.edu/fhc/index.php) I used the search terms Chamberlayne, C. C. The library at Brigham Young U [I forget its formal name] as well as other libraries are banding together to digitize some of their books, principally those where the copyright has expired, and eventually they will be transferred, I understand, to the Family History Library URL - _www.familysearch.org_ (http://www.familysearch.org) This project is a project in progress. Clayton Library in Houston, TX and Allen Co. [Indiana] Public Library are also participants, I understand. We have much to look forward to.
