here again are also the lunenburg and mecklenburg co, va deeds connecting both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and james harris also with the ragsdales and the crowders.   lunenburg co, va deed book 6, page 528, 1761, william harris of lunenburg co, va to john smith of amelia co, va for 200 pds, 400 acres on both sides of the middle fork of the bluestone creek and bounded by new lines.  signed:  william harriss.  witnesses:  abram crowder; peter hamlin, his mark; benjamin ragsdale.  frances, wife of william harris, relinquished her right of dower. again, this james harris, also involved with both abraham crowder, sr and jr re the following mecklenburg co, va deed re mark moore to thomas spain, is also indicated to have been the son of my william harris/ judith hudson and brother of my william harris, sr/ frances goode.   mecklenburg co, va deed book 6, page 462, 1784, mark moore of mecklenburg co, va to thomas spain of dinwiddie co, va for 500 pds, 220 acres in mecklenburg co, va bounded by the lower side of woodpecker creek joining hasting;  thomas wilborne; jeremiah lamkin; wade; coleman; jefferies and the said lucas.  signed:  mark moore.  witnesses:  thomas berry; abram crowder; james harris; abram crowder, jr.   again, both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn from 1757-1762 there in lunenburg co, va and this thomas wilborn, per this deed re mark moore to thomas spain, was the son of john wilborn/ judith.   again, sorry to say, i have never been able to learn who this john wilborn, wife, judith, were and why they would have been so involved with both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and my william harris/ judith hudson?   again, this same mark moore involved here with james harris and the crowders was the same mark moore who was also an executor of my william harris/ judith hudson's 1778 mecklenburg co, va will.   mark moore married rachel ragsdale, daughter of benjamin ragsdale, and also moved with his brother-in-law peter ragsdale also to laurens co, sc.   again, these laurens co, sc deeds also connect mark moore and peter ragsdale with my mackeness goode, sr and/ or his son, our mackerness goode, jr and also with the same burgess family also involved with my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers in laurens co, sc.   laurens co, sc deed book A, page 42, 1/ 28/ 1785, ratcliff jowell to mark moore for 250 pds currency 150 acres on beaverdam creek of little river.  witnesses:  peter ragsdale; joel burgess.   laurens co, sc deed book B, page 301, 1788, joel burgess and wife elenor to richard ship for 200 pds, 95 acres on the beaverdam creek of little river, part of an original grant 1770 to acquilla hall, 20 acre grant to joel burgess 1786 bordered on mark moore, mackerness goode, acquilla hall, chas parrott, widow harvey.  wit:  lewis saxon, c.c.   this was joel burgess' son, elijah burgess who also witnessed the following laurens co, sc deed re my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers to john cunningham, son of our patrick and ann harris cunningham.   laurens co, sc deed book F, page 441, 1798, william harris to john cunningham for $85, spanish milled, 200 acres on duncans creek and little river, all my part of 1796 survey to patrick cunningham and william harris for 500 acre grant to said william harris and john cunningham and robert cunningham.  witnesses:  elijah burgess, thomas redden. zach bailey, j.p., dower renunciation by wife, frances harris.  (widow of william harris by 5/13/1799). jonathan downs, j.l.c. to be continued:   belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8-------26910
