i have already sent this post to harris hunters but it did  not post.  then, i realized it was attached to a number of other messages, which may be why and also why i am posting again.   also, in my looking at the family of sherwood harris of anson co, nc per both his wives hannah page and elizabeth jones on the rootsweb sites, it would seem that there would be male descendants of this sherwood harris' harris line and family.   i am also going to post more about this.   here again is my reply to linda.   ann   thanks.  so, just to be clear-----  kathryn wiggins says that this was the sherwood harris, who married hannah page, who was in anson co, nc and that elizabeth jones was his 2nd wife.     so, this sherwood harris was not married to elizabeth tillman?   interesting, then, that this sherwood harris would name a son tilmon harris.   interesting, also, that this is kathryn wiggins' harris line and family.  i corresponded with her quite a number of years ago but at the time i knew very little about my own harris family and their ancestry.   does the info say or do you know how kathryn wiggins descended from sherwood harris?   do you know if there is a harris descendant from this sherwood harris line/ family participating in the harris dna project or a harris descendant who could?   belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8-------26910
