hi carol   both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson were involved with this same crowder family involved with this thomas hood and timothy harris/ wilminton harris there in amelia co, va.   per info i cannot confirm, this timothy harris/ elizabeth womack was the son of this thomas harris/ yvette also of henrico co, va and this thomas harris, son of this thomas harris, was part of this harris/ jefferson line also from henrico co, va, although other sites give him a different father.    my same or related goode family is shown/ stated to have married into this same harris/ jefferson line there also in henrico co, va.   also, per the info, this was abraham crowder, sr/ frances tucker's son joseph crowder who married mary hood, daughter of this thomas hood also involved with wilminton harris and timothy harris there in amelia co, va.   it was either this abraham crowder, sr or jr, who witnessed the following 1761 lunenburg co, va deed re my william harris, sr/ frances goode to john smith of amelia co, va and john smith's wife, martha, is also shown/ indicated to have been part of this same tucker family of amelia co, va.   lunenburg co, va deed book 6, page 528, 1761, william harris of lunenburg co, va to john smith of amelia co, va for 200 pds, 400 acres on both sides of the middle fork of the bluestone creek and bounded by new lines.  signed:  william harriss.  witnesses:  abram crowder; peter hamlin, his mark; benjamin ragsdale.  frances, wife of william harris, relinquished her right of dower.     it was also both abraham crowder, sr and jr involved with james harris, indicated to have also been the james harris, son of my william harris/ judith hudson, who witnessed the following 1784 mecklenburg co, va deed re mark moore to thomas spain.   mecklenburg co, va deed book 6, page 462, 1784, mark moore of mecklenburg co, va to thomas spain of dinwiddie co, va for 500 pds, 220 acres in mecklenburg co, va bounded by the lower side of woodpecker creek joining hasting;  thomas wilborne; jeremiah lamkin; wade; coleman; jefferies and the said lucas.  signed:  mark moore.  witnesses:  thomas berry; abram crowder; james harris; abram crowder, jr.   again, as i have talked about, i think, both on harris hunters and our harris group 8 forum, mark moore married rachel ragsdale, daughter of benjamin ragsdale, and moved with his brother-in-law, peter ragsdale, also to laurens co, sc.   laurens co, sc deeds connect mark moore and peter ragsdale with my mackerness goode, sr or jr and with the same burgess family also involved with my william harris, jr/ frances rodgers there in laurens co, sc.   to return to mecklenburg co, va, alexander pool married in 1790 in mecklenburg co, va angelina crowder, said to have been the daughter of this dr abraham crowder, jr.   this was his brother, james pool, who married in 1782 in mecklenburg co, va ursula hudson, daughter of william hudson, who is indicated to have been the 1/2 brother of my judith hudson harris and also son of my peter hudson, sr.   william hudson and james pool also moved to laurens co, sc and william hudson gave land in laurens co, sc and rutherford co, nc to his son-in-laws:  james pool; william wilborn; and jeremiah wilborn.   again,  both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn from 1757-1762 there in lunenburg co, va.   again,  i cannot confirm but info would indicate that william hudson's son-in-laws william wilborn and jeremiah wilborn were related to john wilborn and his son, thomas wilborn also there in lunenburg/ mecklenburg co, va.   again, per the mecklenburg co, va records, alexander pool, who married angelina crowder, and his brother, james pool, who married ursula hudson, were the sons of this alexander pool, who died in 1767 in mecklenburg co, va.   alexander pool was bound out to richard ragsdale and his brother james pool was bound out to benjamin ragsdale.     this info is from the mecklenburg co, va court records:   Alexander Poole, s/o Alexander Poole, bound out to Richard Ragsdale, 1767 Alexander Poole's estate sale money to go to Churchwardens, St.James Par. 1770   James Poole, orphan of Alexander Pool, bound out to Benjamin Ragsdale, 1770; to be bound out again 1776 by Ch'ward.          Mecklenburg Co, Va Marriages:           Alexander Pool m. Angelina CROWDER 11-Oct-1790.
