    1. [HARRIS-HUNTERS] reply to pat clare re william hudson/ my judith hudson harris # 2
    2. in fact, i also have more to say about these same connections re both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and reuben harris with the same or related john jefferies.   again, both my william harris, sr/ frances goode and my william harris/ judith hudson were involved with the will and estate of john wilborn from 1757-1762 there in lunenburg co, va and, again, whereas john wilborn lived in this woodpecker creek area near my william harris/ judith hudson and his son thomas wilborn continued to live there near them, it was my william harris, sr/ frances goode who was the executor of the will and estate of john wilborn.   the lunenburg co, va records also show that john jefferies was one of the appraisers of john wilborn's estate:   in 1758, the estate of john wilborn in lunenburg co, va was appraised for the court by john camp; john jefferies; and richard swepson.    again, per halifax co, va deeds posted a number of times now, this was my william harris, sr/ frances goode, who sold this wynn creek land to john camp, which, again, had been a 1750 survey for my william harris, sr (my william harris/ judith hudson) and my william harris, jr (my william harris, sr/ frances goode) which became a patent to my william harris, sr/ frances goode in 1758.   here again, to follow, is one of these deeds re my william harris, sr/ frances goode to john camp and also this 1750 dodson survey.   again, my focus has been on lunenburg and mecklenburg co, va, although, again, as these lunenburg co, va tithe lists show, my william harris, sr/ frances goode and his father, my william harris/ judith hudson started out in cornelius cargill's district, which became halifax co, va and deeds show they maintained some property and/ or contact with the families also of halifax co, va.   this is  indicated, then, to have been also my william harris, sr/ frances goode, who sold land to john jefferies per the following deed or excerpt from this halifax co, va deed and which is indicated to have been in this same wynn creek area per the land my william harris, sr/ frances goode sold to john camp.   19-F Halifax/Scottsburg William Harris, Sr. & Jr. 1750 820a Wynns Cr. & Powels br.  Neighbors & near vicinity:  Margery Sizemore, James Sizemore, George Sizemore, Henry Sizemore, William Sizemore, Robert Wooding, William Williamson, Joseph Shaw,William McHenry, Richard Powell, Anthony Griffin, Buckner Stith, John Powel, Benj. HARRIS......plaintiff against John S. Jeffries and Thomas B. Puryear execs of Reuben HARRIS dec'd and Patsey Puryear wife of said Thomas B. Puryear....Defendants)  we are dealing many times with lost records, destroyed records, and records that were never kept.   also, every deed and every document we do find, including wills and estate papers, etc, are still subject to someones interpretation as to what this deed or document does mean and who exactly does that deed and/ or document refer to.   the issue is not that we speculate and interpret but whether we speculate and interpret accurately and get it right.   we are also many times dealing with threads and pieces of info and, again, the issue is whether these threads and pieces of info we are looking at tie into other things and make sense or whether they just dangle there and/ or shred and go no where.     belva harris cauthen harris dna group 8--------26910
