The 1890 census is missing from the Franklin County, N.C. Library . I have heard that some of the census records were destroyed in a fire or something before being copied etc. but don't know if this is one of them. Does anyone know anything about this? I am searching for Odom/Odham Harris born about 1860-1870 in western North Carolina and was killed in a sawmill or logging accident in 1893in Franklin County,N.C. He married my Great Grandmother Patty Harris born 1876 in Franklin County , N.C. and died in 1954. I can't find anything on him. Any information would be appreciated.
