Anne WILLIAMS was the daughter of Jane HARRIS, born: prob. bet. 1680 - 1690, (parents: ??,) and John WILLIAMS, born: bef. 1654 whose mother, Lettice ?, was married to Henry WILLIAMS, born: abt. 1665 in England, died: ?? in Essex Co., VA, and his mother was Mary BILLINGTON, born: prob. early 1600's in England, (parents: ??,) and her husband, John WILLIAMS, born: prob. early 1600's, (immigrated in abt. 1634 to Old Rappahannock, VA,) died: 1701/1702 in Essex Co., VA. Anne WILLIAMS married Roger WILLIAMS who is descended from Alice PEMBERTON and James WILLIAMS through their son, Sydrach WILLIAMS, who was the brother of (Reverend) Roger WILLIAMS, founder of Rhode Island and later Governor.
