I need help from some of you Harris researchers. I cannot find the parents of my grandmother. When my father was living, he could not tell me much becaause she died when he was five years of age. All that I have been able to find is as follows: Mary C. Harris Birth: October 1867, AL. Her mother and father were born in AL (1900 U. S. Census, Carbon Hill, Walker Co., AL). Marriage: To John Henry Hall, 19 March 1897, Sulligent, Lamar Co., AL. (copy of birth certificate, although her last name is spelled "Harrison" by mistake). Death: ca. 1908, Carbon Hill, Walker Co., AL. When she met my grandfather, she was working in Sulligent. As far as my father knew, she had two brothers and either two or three sisters. His two brothers visited his father after the death of her mother because they were friends. Their names were Robert and Thomas. They both lived near the border of Alabama and Mississippi. I really hope someone can help me because I just cannot find anything more about my Harris Line. Jim Hall
