He married Laura May GRIFFITH, daughter of Andrew Thomas GRIFFITH & Julia BRYANT, About 1914. Born Oct 28, 1894 in Kennett, Dunklin County, Missouri. Died Feb 22, 1967 in Union County Illinois. Buried Feb 1967 in Thistlewood Cem, Mounds Illinois. Occupation House Wife. They had the following children: i. Juanita STOKES; Born Mar 29, 1919 in (per census MO). Died Feb 1983 in Illinois.
