I noticed that one of these, Charles Roy Shipman, shows up on the California Death List as Charles R. Shipman, born 08-27-1901 in Alabama, died 08-03-1963 in Turlock, Stanislaus Co, CA---where his mother's maiden name is listed as HARRIS.
