Jude, Do you have any information on Harris' from Maryland? Or know where I can find more info? We have Michael Harris appearing in Washington Co., PA about 1820, marrying Rebecca Wilkins in 1812. (in a later census, he says he was born in Maryland). In that same census there appears: Thomas, George, and William. They all had large families. We believe that George was the father of Michael and during the 1810 census Michael was living with his father. After 1820, we lose track of everyone except Michael who stayed in the area raising a large family. We think George brought his family from Harford Co. Maryland, as he seems to be with a Quaker group there and they moved to Redstone in Fayette Co, which is quite close to where Michael settled. Any help appreciated. Carol Harris
