I have run across two large, gorgeous charcoal drawings of George Harris and his wife Eliza Mary Scanlon Harris which a living relative in Orlando FL has put in a consignment shop to sell.  While that is their right, I hate to see these beautiful portraits out of their family. These approx 2x3 foot charcoal drawings were by artist William Lyndon and appear to have been drawn about 1890.  They are absolutely beautiful. I am not a Harris descendant, only a concerned family historian trying to find someone of this family who would want these portraits before they are lost to non-family persons.  I would only ask for reimbursement of my costs.  In ornate gold frames, the asking price is $300 for each portrait.  I will be open to negotiating a price without the frames which would be considerably less.
