She married JOSEPH ALLEN September 12, 1824 in Hardin Co., KY, son of WILLIAM ALLEN and MARY ROLLESON. He was born Bet. 1799 - 1800 in Washington Co., Ky was in 1850 Marion Co., Ky census #300, and died December 22, 1856 in Marion Co., KY Lived in the Levelwoods area of LaRue Co., KY. Notes for JOSEPH ALLEN: 1. JOSEPH1 ALLEN (WILLIAMA) was born 1800 in Washington County, Kentucy. (C-1850 Marion, fam#300), and die Descendants of Joseph Allen d 1859 in Marion County, Kentucky. He married NANCY HARRIS September 10, 1824 in Hardin County, Kentucky. She was born Abt. 1795, and died Aft. 1860 in probably LaRue County, Kentucky. DYE July 31, 1845 in LaRue County, Kentucky by John Beard, son of FAUNTLEROY DYE and JANE DURHAM. He was born 1825 in Kentucky, and died July 12, 1889 in LaRue County, Kentucky of apoplexy.. Notes for JAMES W. DYE: In the 1860 LaRue County Census, James M. Dye was family 680. He was 35 years old and his wife, Mary Jane, was also 35. Their children were: Nancy C., 13; J. T., 12; James W., 10; Martha E., age 9 years. Mary Jane's mother, Nancy Allen, age 63, was living in the home. DYE: LaRue County Herald News item, Thursday, October 31, 1895: Miss Mary M., the daughter of J. W. & M. J. Dye, died October 8 of consumption near Richmond, Ray Co., Mo. Was 22 years old. Maggie, as she was called, is survived by her parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. 3. ELIZABETH2 ALLEN (JOSEPH1, WILLIAMA) was born November 15, 1826, and died December 11, 1906 in Willowtown, Taylor county, Kentucky of consumption. (bur in Mt. Carmel Ch. Cem.). She married WILLIAM FRANK WRIGHT February 25, 1858 in Taylor County, KY by Solomon Skaggs at Josiah Morris in the presence of James M. Read and Josiah Morris., son of THOMAS WRIGHT and ARRENA HELTON. He was born 1838 in Aleck's Fork, Green/Taylor County, KY, and died May 19, 1886 in of Consumption in Willowtown, Taylor County, KY (Died of Consumption). Notes for ELIZABETH ALLEN: Elizabeth Allen Wright bought a farm (Henry Hash wrote the deed for her) but had to sell it to get Ples. out of trouble. She also raised Johnnie Wright, her grandson.(7 Jan. 1878-16 Feb. 1951) When she died Ples. and his sister Lou fought over their mother's property. Steven Wright said he had the pleasure of meeting Frankie Wright (another son of Ples. Wright) after church at Mt. Carmel some years ago. He told Steve that the house that the late Mr. Turner Campbell was living in was the old Helton house (Wm F. Wright's grandparents). Since then, a couple from out of state purchased it, took off the clapboard and restored the log structure. They were nice enough to give Steve a handful of square nails from it. - 1998.
