Hi, As another (white) HARRIS descendant of '1600s England to Virginia' HARRIS lineage, I, too, want to echo my support to you and anyone else providing the type of information that you did regarding the FREEDMEN's PROJECT. I am always amazed at anyone getting upset whenever there is TOO much information and, also, finding anything to be irritated about whenever the Subject line completely and clearly stipulates what the message pertains to. From the moment that they choose NOT to DELETE the message that they are opening after seeing a Subject line that doesn't apply to them they have no grounds for complaint regarding the information inside the email that pertains totally to that which the Subject line stipulated. And if the subject of 'white versus black' is the bone of contention...well, that in itself is revealing. It helps us all whenever more information about anyone's heritage is uncovered. I applaud you for being part of the solution to helping uncover the missing information.
