I am trying to find any information on my gr. grandmother, Maggie Melinda Wilder Harris Bunch. She was born in Hancock Co, TN on June 18, 1883. She always said she was born a Wilder but was given away on the street in Sneedville, TN, Hancock co., as a child to a Harris lady. She was old enough to remember it. She never told any of the family the names of her Wilder parents or her Harris parents who raised her. She married my gr.grandfather, Henry Bunch in abt.1899 in Hancock County. She always used Harris for her maiden name, but would tell you that she really had two names. I would love to solve this family mystery for my Daddy, who loved his Mamaw Maggie very much. He is not well so I would like to be able to tell him the family mystery is solved. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help that you might be able to give me.
