I have a dead end on my ggrandmother, Mary Harris Shaw. Mary Harris was wed to Jesse Shaw in 1834 in Franklin County, Indiana. That is the earliest documentation I can find on her life. She was born 2/13/1813 in Kentucky and moved to Indiana as an infant. I suspect, from circumstantial evidence, that her parents were Benjamin and Ruth Pendleton Harris. Both Benjamin and Ruth were born in Virginia in 1782 and 1790 respectively. I believe the moved to Iowa after 1850 where Benjamin died, though I do not have a location in Iowa. I believe that Benjamin and Ruth had other children including: John Harris Henry Harris Sarah Harris Hesritt or Herritt Any assistance would be appreciated. Larry Shaw
