Does anyone have any information on a connection between the Harris Family with the Draper Family of Vermont/NY? I'm looking for ancestry of Hiram Harris b. ca 1805 (maybe in Shaftsbury, Bennington Co., VT) but could be earlier, d. abt 1878 in NY and married Mahala (?) Draper by 1829 in Oneida Co., NY. Children were: Charles m. Shaw Sally m. Gleason Julia m. North Henry m. VanIngen Muriel (sp?) This one was hard to read on the 1850 NYCensus m. ?
