I was told Michael made the trek to and from Canada quite often. Michael traded horses back and forth before making the final move to Washington county in Kansas. Micahel and Margaret were married in Canada, where I don't know. From my records all of the children, except Florance were born in Canada. They homesteaded land in Washington County, one-half mile west of the village of Kimeo. They gave land for building the church, St. Michael's Church, which cornerstone was laid in 1904. They also donated land for the cemetary, which they are buried. They both appear in the 1900 census, and Michael died 1901, Margaret 1902 Steve
