ackie, This very well could be an association between names. The name Harr wasn't very common and derived from either "Horr, Hoar, Haar" and i heard from a distant relative that somewhere back in the 1800's a relative from Ruden harr went to Oklahoma and stuck oil, became rich and lost it all in venture for more oil ...Just our luck huh?????...I will get together what I know and maybe we can swap hisotry...Thanks for the reply...My Dad is from Kansas but met my mom in Virginia while he was in the Navy and they got married and mostly live here until now.
