Well I also am looking for a William Harper.( I think) My G,Grandfather Jason W. Harper(1821-1889) named his first Son William RC Harper which has always lead me to think that Jason's Father was named William. There has been some research by others that listed Jason's Mom was named Elizabeth....... in 1846 Jason Married Sarah Elizabeth White in Hart County Ga. Our thoughts that Jason was raised up across the line in SC.
