    3. My Ancestry is from Benjamin Harper b1787, moved to Shelby Co. 1812-1814. His children were: William C., Sarah, Lewana, Rebecca, Aleatha, Eliz Ann, James H, Mary Ann, Marthsa, Harriet,& Susan. William C. Harper is my GGGG grandfather WILLIAM C's kids were: Joseph, Jacob, James H, John, William T, Judge Doctor Franklin (JDF), Henry, Mary, George, Martha. Joseph A. married Louisa Jane Vick they are [my ggg grandparents] Joseph A. and James H. were members of the 31 St. Alabama Co. K, both died at Vicksburg and are buried side by side at Soldier's Rest Cemetery, Vicksburg. John [1st Sargent], Henry, J.D.F., George W., W.J.[Jacob] were members of the 29th Alabama Co. E.     3. John: Do you have any idea who Benjamin's father was. Where was he born? I have a Benjamin, son of William T. Harper of Putnam Co., Ga to Perry Co. AL about 1820. My Ben. was born about 1788, could be 1787. My line goes from Sussex Co., VA to Putnam Co., GA, to Perry Co., AL. Wm I and his son, Edward of Sussex Co, VA, to William Turner Harper of Putnam Co., GA to Perry Co., AL.
