Patricia You mentioned you had early OHIO Harper's. I have a LINTON HARPER b. 12/24/1800 in ? Va. or Licking Co. Ohio and mar. SUSAN GALER on 8/24/1831. They both d in Morrow Co. Ohio (1875 )and (1876.) They had six children. I have looked high and wide for Linton's parents. (for years) However, there is an ABRAHAM HARPER from Licking Co. Ohio, mentioned in the 1820 same census- Linton's age about works out, but not perfect. He is also in the 1830, then a troublesome age for the 1840 census. However, a LInton D. has a 1835 tax duplicate that would agree with the age. ABRAHAM has three land listings- and so far no will. Do you have any information on this ABRAHAM? I figure his b. would be approx. 1775 Thanks for your help and thoughts! Dolly
