My husband asked about the DNA testing but was told because his ggrandmother wasn't married to his ggrandfather that it would not be a Harper test. I am not knowledgeable of DNA testing but his mother and gggrandfather were Harpers so I don't understand why it would not be a true test. Any info you could give me on this would be appreciated. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Harper8" <MHARPER8@houston.rr.com> To: <HARPER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 23, 2003 10:12 AM Subject: RE: [HARPER] Re: HARPER-D Digest V03 #97 > I would just like to bring to your attention that there is a Harper Surname > DNA project ongoing.
