Laura Where in Kentucky did they settle? I am researching Hanse and Michael Harper. Hanse was born 1797. Believe he married Nancy Locke. They were from Barren/Hart County area. Specifically I am looking for Margaret Harper b 1826 in KY. She married my ggrandfather Patrick Riordan in 1854. She stated she was a widow. On the 1850 census she is listed as Margaret Kelly living with Silas Harper. Is he her father or perhaps another relative. Was she really a Kelly who married one of Silas' sons? So confusing. Pat divorced her so I cannot even find where she is buried. Would appreciate any suggestions or ideas!!!! Thanks Sandy
