I have long been interest in the Harper line from Ireland - specifically, Castleton Harper - I know he came from Ireland (I don't know where) and was born in 1715. He settled in the Charlottesville, Virginia area and married Rebecca (?) who was born in 1718 (unsure where). I descend from his son Richard and his daughter Mary. Interested in corresponding with others of this line. Some say my Charter Harper was s/o Richard, Castleton's son, but have not found proof. Charter Harper m Nancy Kidd, d/o Webb Kidd & Elizabeth White. My 2 Harper lines are from Charter's sons James Washington Harper and Henry White Harper, youngest and oldest of the children.
