Has anyone ever stepped forward and said they had CDs for certain censuses or had a subscription to a site that charges you for census lookups? If you are such a person, reply to this. That way folks could just contact you directly rather than you wading through list emails and doing searches on the fly. Just a suggestion. I found no William Harper marriage to a "Mary" in either KY or TN before 1780. The closest I came was: William Harper, m. Mary Hicks, Carroll Co., TN, 31 Dec. 1844. The year is way off. I just discovered that my LDS does have ancestry.com access. Which I did for about an hour yesterday and had fun doing. I can't promise much, but I'd certainly be willing to help where I can. I noticed though that the census doesn't seem complete on ancestry.com when I tried to find the Father to my Louis Gunn Harpers wife Hannah Rettie Cyphers. Only Paul Cyphers I found was in the 1830 and that didn't give the names of children, just the head of the family. What gives with that? Anyone know why the 1830 census came out that way?
