This family starts in Amsterdam, Holland and goes to Kentucky and on to TEXAS and many more states. And on 16 OCT 1765 he was Naturialized in Augusta Co.. VA. I would check that one though, because this time line has it placed in the wrong area (the date ). Went thru my papers that Sara Harper sent me and found that cousin Doug Harper has so many "hand written" letters, photo's of old news papers regarding this HARPER family, the horse LONGFELLOW, the OLD CHURCH that sat on the Harper land and Jacob's son George Harper b. 1756. Jacob and Mary had several children. These are the ones that Doug Harper has documented: Children of Mary and Jacob Harper: Nicholas Harper m. Elizabeth Jacob Harper George Harper b. 21 SEPT 1756 m. Mary Elliott (Baxter) b. 27 FEB 1764 Adam Harper b. 1760 John Harper b. 1763 William Harper b. 1767 Barbara Harper b. 1770 m. James Chrisman Henry Harper b. 1775 Mary Ann Harper b. abt. 1778 m. William F. Dunnica Elizabeth Harper b. 1781 m. Harvey Sterling Doug Harper shows the dates and amounts of the land being sold off to the children of Jacob and Mary Conrad. He even has copies of micro film showing marriages, etc. O'Dale Harper has shared so much on my own grandfather's side and his father (Charles Lee Harper b. 1857). Sara Harper sent me so much info about 4 years ago, and I still haven't been able to ansorb it all. She sent info from herself, Doug and O'Dale.
