JC, Let's keep in touch. I have the feeling that my Rev Thomas Harper, b NC 5 Oct 1806, may have come from Chatham County. His daughter, Serena Rose Harper, married Rev Joseph Brantley (Duty) Dooty. Joseph and his father, William Duty, were born in Chatham County . Might be something to pursue.
