My stone wall is Bryant Harper, b. 1816, (where ?); Married Nancy Jones, B. Jan 12,1818 in NC. They were married in Johnston, NC. on Feb 18,1839. Don't know what happened to her, but Bryant was remarried about 1849 in Johnston, NC to Rachel Avera, b.1814, don't know where. They had 3 children born in Smithfield, NC. They all came to Memphis, where the parents died of Yellow Fever, and the children were placed in an orphanage. I can find no Bryant Harper in any linage. He must have had parents! Any help? Peg
