I am new to your listing but I wonder if someone could help me. I am attempting to research my husband's side of the family. His great grandmother was Margaret Harper born in Cadyville, NY on March 27, 1861. Some of the places that she is listed it says her maiden name was Harper other places it says it is Arpin. Her death certificate lists her parents as Gilbert Arpin and Olive Fountaine. Could someone please tell me if Arpin and Harper are the same name, I am so confused? Any help that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Joanne Borden
