The earliest William Mark Harper b ca 1742/43 may have lived in Frederick Co, VA shortly after leaving Culpeper Co, VA in 1789. It appears that he also might have lived somewhere in MD in the early 1770's. He left no will - no estate papers - nothing to prove his children, but the others are linked as probable children by a tremendous amount of circumstantial evidence. However, there may be some siblings we have not discovered. Would be interested in sharing findings with anyone researching Harpers in any of the localities mentioned. Cookie
