Hi Annette, Saw you were researching HARPERs in DC. My grgrandfather was Grafton HARPER b. 1818, d. 1887, m. Elizabeth FOLEY 1842. Pittenger's book "DC Marriages" has his name as John Joseph, but that was Grafton's father's name. Their daughter, Catherine Ellen HARPER m. William K. REEVE. The whole family was born, married and died in Georgetown, District of Columbia. Grafton & Elizabeth are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery. Any connection? Ann
