I am researching the following Harper clan - Hulbert Henry Harper, b. 2-13-1884, in Calvert City (Graves Co.) KY. He married Cora May FORD, 11-26-1902, in McKrakin Co., KY, and they had several children. The following are those who lived past infancy: (1) Cleber Deacon, b. 7-5-1906 in Marshall Co., KY (2) Gilbert Henry, b. 12-6-1908 in Graves Co., KY (3) Belma Varnell, b. 1-21-1911 in Marshal Co., KY (my grandmother) (4) Glenn Carroll, b. 11-18-1920 in Sikeston (Scott Co.) MO (5) James Franklin Richard, b. 1-23-1923 in Sikeston (6) Beauton Elizabeth, b. 9-10-1924 in Sikeston (7) Vida Jean, b. 3-21-1927 in Sikeston Gilbert married Erma ? and moved to CA (family ?) Belma married Trentis LAWS and moved to St. Louis, MO. Clebor & Glenn didn't marry. James married Imogene ? and moved to IL (family ?). Beauton & Vida Jean married "Johnsons" and moved to IL. If you see any connections -- please let me know. Also - I'm having trouble going backwards from Hulbert. His death certificate list parents as "Jack & Dora," but I've had no luck so far finding them in census records. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks - Mike Laws
