I am seeking info on John Garrett Harper b. 1849 Miss. m. 1868 Elizabeth Ann Monroe. They had 5 children John Garrett, James Alfred, Sarah Evelyn, Mary Catherine & Samuel. I believe all of the children were born in the Sugartown, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana area. John Garrett Jr. is buried in Shiloh Cemetery in Beauregard Parish. I have info on other Harpers in the area and have been unable to make the connection yet. Any help would be great.
