Harper - 9 Asberry Harper - 6 James Harper - 5 This Harper's above are descended from John Harerp (1) > John Jackson Harper (2), and John J. Harper, Jr., a line that migrated from Craven Co., SC to Wilkes Co., GA, then to Lee and Macon Cos., AL. Harper descendants are known to have resided and/or held property also in Auburn, Lee Co., AL. I am also looking to learn more about the origin of John A. Green (was he from SC, too? What county?), both Harpers and Greens being possible sources/origins for Angeline Green and Ishmael Harper, ex-slaves who married in Macon County in 1866. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
