Dear Everyone, I am seeking information about one of my ancestors, Martha Jane Harper. Born 8 April 1826 in Va. Married Henry C. Sowers 27 July 1843 in Muskingum Co Ohio. Died 17 December 1906 in Atchison Ks. Children include: Sarah Ann, John E. (Edward?), David W., Hannah C., Benjamin F., Henry C., Amos W., James Bradley, Mary, Alvin, and one child that died in infancy. I would appreciate any information about her parents, siblings, etc. The family story is that she is related to the Harper publishing family but I have not found any evidence to support this story.
