I am seeking the ancestors of my 2nd great grandfather, Samuel Harper, who was married 8 Jan 1801, in Rockbridge County, VA to Ann Brawford, daughter of Samuel Brawford. I have, undocumented, information that a Samuel Harper was born ca 1780 to Alexander Thornton Harper of Fairfax, Co. This seems to be a reasonable time period for my Samuel Harper.
