William Harper and his wife, Libby Clark Harper, were living in Girard Tp., Crawford County, Kansas during the 1880 census. With them were their son, Benjamin, age 7, and Annie Clark, age 13, probably by Libby's first marriage. According to the census, both William and Libby were born in Ohio in 1822.
