I'm looking for wives, parents, and ancestors of my gggrandfather Reddick HARPER who is listed in Johnston County, NC censuses of the early and mid-1800s. Does anyone connect to him? I'm not sure he had any surviving male descendents: At least one of his three sons was killed in the Civil War, and his unmarried daughter inherited his home. I am connected through his daughter Wilsey, who married an Aaron MASSENGILL. I have speculated that his mother might have been a REDDICK. Does anyone have a HARPER-REDDICK connection? He may have been married to a HAWKINS. Does anyone have a Hawkins who married a Harper? Any remotely relevant information will be greatly appreciated.
