I am seeking information on the Harper families who had land and appeared on the census near the St Clair and Jefferson county line in Alabama. (1840/50/60's) Some of the names I am familiar with are Lewis Harper, William Harper, Jasper Harper, and Warren Harper. I am trying to sort out the relationship of these people.
