I noticed that posting regarding Thomas Harper, Jr. in Rowan Co., NC. I would love to know about the Harpers that lived in NC. My line goes back to Jesse Harm Harper, b. ca1798, poss. VA/NC. He married Elizabeth Minton in 1832, Wilkes Co., NC. I know that there was a Col. James Harper in Burke Co. in the late 1700s, but that is my limit on the Harper family. I would greatly appreciate any piece of information on the NC Harpers. Jesse later moved to Union>Gilmer Co., GA. THANKS! Angela Groenhout
