I'm new to this list and would like to give you the Harper names I'm working on. James A. Harper was born in 1837 in Ross Co., Ohio, and (according to his pension application after the Civil War) was a son of Peter Harper. James was married in 1859 in Fulton Co., Illinois, to Mary Ellen Ball. It seems they moved to Harrison Co., Missouri, in the 1870's and perhaps back to Fulton Co. for a while came back to Missouri. James died in harrison Co. in 1916. The only info I have on James' siblings are the names John and Tom as possible brothers. Could sure use some help on James' parents and siblings. Will be glad to share what I have on James' descendants. Mary Hart
