I have been looking for the parents and birth place of Lt. Col. John HARPER, RE, who d. on the Isle of Guernsey, 28 DEC 1837. He m. a Jane, I believe, and later m. Alice. His son, Wm. Frederick Stuart HARPER became an Anglican minister in Canada, and was pastor of St. John's Church, Bath, Ontario for about 40 years. Thanks, BettySullivan
