    3. Hi listmates! I'm new to this list and don't know if a whole lot isn't being posted right now, or if I'm missing posts. But, I thought I would post what I have and hope that someone else is researching the same family and has more information. My grandfather, Thomas HARPER, left Wales, date unknown, but after a "row" with his father, which, I have learned from newly discovered relatives in Wales, is still talked about! At least I now know where my father's temper, and, (ahem..) mine comes from. I traced his birth to Monmouthshire, Wales through the FHC records, and discovered there were 16 children born to my great grandparents. As far as I can tell, only two of them left Wales--Thomas and Godfrey. I have been able to trace Godfrey's family to British Columbia, Canada, and now have lots of information on his descendants. So, here we go: Thomas HARPUR. m Elisabeth (last name unknown) Children of Thomas HARPUR and Elisabeth are: i. Samuel HARPER. ii. Thomas HARPER, b. 1779, bap.
